About Glass Garden Studio

Glass Garden Studio was never supposed to be a “business plan.”

It started with something much simpler—a lifelong love of being outside.

I grew up playing in the woods, building forts, exploring creeks, and noticing the little things most people miss—the smell of rain, the quiet after a snowfall, the feeling of dirt in your hands. That connection to nature never really left me.

For years, I always said, “When I retire, I’m going to work at a garden center.” Not because I had to—but because it made me happy.

Then life did what life does. I was laid off, and suddenly that “someday” didn’t feel so far away anymore.

Around that same time, my daughter told me about a plant shop she had visited in another state and said, “Mom, you would LOVE this place.” So I went—and she was right. I loved it.

But more than that… I walked in and thought:

“I could do this—and make it even better.”

And that was the moment everything changed.

Glass Garden Studio was born not from a corporate strategy, but from a simple idea:

Plants make people happy. And everyone deserves a place that feels like that.

Why Glass Garden Studio is Different

I built the kind of place I could never find.

Every plant, every pot, and every detail is chosen with intention—things I would bring into my own home.

Not mass-produced.

Not boring.

Not “good enough.”

Just happiness and joy.

A Little Dirt. A Lot of Joy.
