What bonsai is, and what you'll do
Bonsai is the art of growing a full tree in miniature. It looks fussy from the outside, but the first steps are simple, and that is exactly where this class starts.
At our studio table in Apex you plant your own little tree, learn the basics of shaping it, and get a feel for how to keep it healthy. You leave with a bonsai that has real character and is all yours.

Is the bonsai class good for beginners?
Yes. Our bonsai class in Apex is built for first-timers. We keep the steps simple, show you how to plant and shape your tree, and stay right there to help. You do not need any experience with bonsai or plants to walk out with one you are proud of.
How much is the bonsai class and how long does it take?
The class is $75 per person and runs about an hour. That covers your tree, pot, soil, tools, and hands-on instruction. You take your finished bonsai home the same night, no extra purchase needed.
How do I care for a bonsai at home?
Bonsai care comes down to steady watering and the right light for your tree. We send you home knowing how often to water, where to place it, and the simple habits that keep a beginner tree healthy over time.
What kind of tree will I make?
You work with a beginner-friendly tree that takes well to shaping. We match you with something forgiving and show you how to style it, so your first bonsai has character without needing advanced technique.
